Factory settings

The device normally ships with username admin and password admin. It is possible that your device came with different settings, if you agreed upon this beforehand, or if your device is managed by another party.

Be sure to remember your administration password. If you forget it you will not be able to change your device's settings evermore. There is no procedure to recover lost passwords!

Change admin password

Once logged in, you can change the administrator password. It will be stored in a hashed format. Unlike other settings that require an explicit commit, the administrator's password is stored immediately.

Once more, be sure to remember your administration password. If you forget it you will not be able to change your device's settings evermore. There is no procedure to recover lost passwords!
